About Me
I'm Daniel Duff, an up and coming programmer set on creating fun and useful programs that will make life easier for others.
I'm have concluded my studies of Information Technology at Queensland University of Technology where I had lots of fun developing
assorted programs for assessments and building my skills in Python, JavaScript, C# and many others. My love of programming did not start in
University however and instead started in highschool where I studied at least one digital technology unit every year.
I have used these skills to develop my own personal programs and programs to help my friends. Information on these programs can
be found on this website.
I am facinated by the idea of artificial intelligence and hope to persue developement of AI during my career as a software developer.
At various points during my education, the topic of AI has been raised in relation to replicating human learning, image understanding,
and the brain in general, these topics have always drawn my attention.
I have avoided sharing too much personal information here because this is the internet.
About This Site
This website is designed as a portfolio containing some of the programs I have developed. It also contains information about my knowledge of
various programming languages and technologies and my experience with them.
I have developed this website and its graphics myself though the graphics where made using various websites mentioned on the
References page. The references page also contains any image links that
may be used.
Contained in the Programs tab of the navbar are links to projects and information about Python, C#, C, HTML, MATLAB, Java, JavaScript, R, Pascal.
These are the programming languages I learnt through highschool and university, consiquently I am the most confident with these languages. That being said,
I enjoy learning new programming languages and find it relatively straight forward.
The pages on each programming language begin with the programs that I have made in that language containing links to a github where
the programs can be found and downloaded. Below this is my history with the programming language.
The D&D tab contains some programs I am using in my table top gaming hobby to help with running games.
Academic Integrity
In most of the programming pages of this website I talk about my use of the languages for university work. To preserve academic integrity, I have left out the code for these and instead only provided screenshots of sections that would not be too revealing if a future student doing the unit were to see them.
